The staff seem to care but they don't seem to be prepared for the work. My mother, before transfering to another facility, had several falls, I was assured that mother was a good candidate for the facility but the staff in no way was able to keep up with her. She received multiple skin tears and bruises. To top it all off we believe she was responsible for bringing bed bugs to her new facility. The rooms were often kept dusted and swept but the house keeping didn't seem to be their top priority- wich now makes sense to me after finding the nurse's aides are responsible for the laundry and house keeping. The meals always seem to be hot and edible but nothing spectacular. I had plans to take my mother out for lunch before an oppointment and found three patients, including mom, sitting in their own urine, soaked through to the couch cushion.
